RESIDENTIAL WIREMAN - 2 YEAR, 4,000 HOUR PROGRAM

Residential Wiremen perform the installation, maintenance, and integration of various systems for the residential market in single and multi-family dwelling units.

System installations include power and lighting, climate control, home automation, as well as telephone, computer, security, fire alarm and television wiring.

Requirements to complete the program include 4,000 hours of supervised on the job training, satisfactory completion of two (2) years of Residential Wireman course material and acquisition of a Washington State Journeyman Residential Electrician license.

The classroom training is held during the day for forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, in 1-week sessions spaced throughout the school year of September through July.
